In all my years as a model, this is the only designer I modeled for who gave me a dress in appreciation after the fashion show; and when he came back to Nigeria the following year for another show, he brought some of his tops for some of his favorite models, myself included :-). The gesture really surprised me, 'cos it wasn't common in those days. Designers don't generally give clothes to models, but he did it...
